One Year In, and Just Getting Started A year ago The Timber Walk was just raw forest. It’s slowly becoming a place to stay, wander, and slow down. The Beginnings of a Boardwalk

The vision for The Timber Walk includes a boardwalk that weaves between the trees to connect the dwellings and common areas throughout the property. It’ll be built in phases as we go. The first little bit is a 30-foot ramp leading from the parking area to the workshop, then a bit of wrap-around deck which will later continue toward Birchwood Cottage. The finishing touch was a carved sign created by my dad.
