About The Timber Walk

The Timber Walk will be a slow-built forest retreat in Lower Greenwich, New Brunswick, with cabins, boardwalks, furnished bell tents meant for reflection and rest.

After a decade spent redeveloping houses, I wanted to try building something that wasn’t about resale, but about staying. Each structure at The Timber Walk will be designed to blend into its surroundings — heated year-round, powered efficiently, and built mostly by hand. From the first footing to the last shingle, the goal will be to craft spaces that invite you to slow down and breathe with the woods.

The retreat will grow in phases: first a cottage, then a pair of cabins and a shower house, connected by a boardwalk that wind through the property. Future plans include retreat tents and small gathering spaces.

The Timber Walk isn’t a resort. It’s a place in progress — part construction site, part sanctuary — where every season adds a little more to the story. Whether you visit one day or simply follow along through our photos and updates, you’re part of that unfolding build.

Walk a little slower. Look a little closer. Leave lighter than you arrived.
