One Year In, and Just Getting Started

A year ago The Timber Walk was just raw forest. It’s slowly becoming a place to stay, wander, and slow down.

It’s hard to believe, but we’re coming up on a full year since I first bought the property that is becoming The Timber Walk. So much has happened in these months—trees cleared, power brought to the site, septic installed, workshop built, the first of the boardwalk constructed, and so much more—and the best part is, this is only the beginning.

As we head into the next season, I’ve been thinking about how to share the story of this place more regularly. Starting in January, I’ll be sending out a monthly update email—a way to keep you connected as the cabins and boardwalks continue to take shape.

• A short story or reflection on where the build is at
• Fresh photos straight from the property (including some that won’t be shared on Facebook or Instagram)
• A walk-through video so you can see the progress in real time
