Introducing the Future Retreat Spaces of The Timber Walk

Introducing the Future Retreat Spaces of The Timber Walk

There’s a moment in creating a place like The Timber Walk when everything shifts from plans to a real destination. Even before any structures rise from the forest floor, giving them names makes the place feel alive. Inspired by the woods, wildlife, and the peaceful nature of Lower Greenwich, these future accommodations already have identities that reflect the spirit of this New Brunswick forest retreat. Something New for the New Year

Something New for the New Year

One Year In, and Just Getting Started A year ago The Timber Walk was just raw forest. It’s slowly becoming a place to stay, wander, and slow down. Built by Local Hands: The Timber Walk’s New Brunswick Roots

The Timber Walk isn’t just a collection of cabins near Saint John, New Brunswick — it’s a forest retreat built by local skill, vision, and hard work. When visitors stay in one of our simple, modern cabins or glamp beneath the…

The Beginnings of a Boardwalk

The Beginnings of a Boardwalk

The vision for The Timber Walk includes a boardwalk that weaves between the trees to connect the dwellings and common areas throughout the property. It’ll be built in phases as we go. The first little bit is a 30-foot ramp leading from the parking area to the workshop, then a bit of wrap-around deck which will later continue toward Birchwood Cottage. The finishing touch was a carved sign created by my dad.
