By this weekend the goal is to have the joists filled with two layers of R20 batt insulation, then subfloor installed on top, and a layer of plastic to protect it from the rain. The culprits? A couple of very well fed raccoons. The floor framing for Birchwood Cottage at The Timber Walk is coming together! Michael and I put in a very full and productive day yesterday, enjoying the spring warmth and sunshine. The beams are complete, which finished the sub-frame of Birchwood Cottage. Ready for floor joists! The moment the wood pile at The Timber Walk blew over in a storm. ⛈️ 🪵
